8th April 13 to 13th April 13

Ashok Ahuja joined the Heart Attack club. It was minor attack and he was hospitalized. Now he is carrying two steins in his heart artillery to avoid blockage.

Akshay was to meet Shah Rukh and watch T20 match in Bangalore, thanks to Seiko. Sad part is that he is not interested in Cricket at all! But good part is, Shah Rukh did not attend the match and for a change Akshay enjoyed and screamed so much at match, that for 2 days he was not able to speak. Dhwani is seriously pursuing her ambition of being Business Woman! She imported few trinkets [Mobile Cover, Stand, Scratch Card] from China via her friend. Now the real task begins for marketing of these items. Muskan, on her part is active in Utsav Exhibition, her once in a year chance to make some pocket money.

11th was Cheti Chand. Also this is the day when 11 days Utsav Exbhition started, with Akshay in Bangaluru, I had to set it up for the opening day. For a first day, we got very good response due to discount [60%] item. Lali was busy with CC function organized by Mandir. And in all this Sharat's birthday was celebrated only by young generation. How? One guess. Eating out!

Vacation time Nov-2011
Home front is crowded and full with fun. Mummy-Chinky-Rinky are staying at Sacred Heart. So, daily different activities take place. Some related to craft (Woolen tinkles, greeting cards etc), some connected with  fashion (like Cutting Kash Hair, making my choti!), and most interesting is Rinky-Chinky learning to cook!  Chinky likes to make sweet dish and also likes to keep everyone busy by giving instructions, do this, do that. And sone pe suhaga is fights between Rinky-Chinky or Chinky-Akshay. And yes, we enjoy pulling Rinky's leg, when she calls her mother to tell her, 'I love you.'

On 13th Neha along with Palak-Mahek landed in Pune, so the vacation quorum is full, now. Dodeja's trend of family of boys has been broken. Chinky-Rinky-Palak-Mahek is last lot of the kids in our family and all are Girls!

Vacation times are really fun times from time unmemorable! Let it be for this generation also. Amen.

The Week that was: 1st April - 6th April

I am back. It was good thought to write about family activity during the week. Why I discontinued? Must be feeling lazy. Anyway 'Dher Ayas Durst Ayas'

On office front, this week is normally very busy, every year due to accounting year end. However, from Saturday Pune traders are on strike for LBT implementation from 1st April. As routine business activity is not there, I was able to clear all accounting activities within 3 days, which normaly take 10-15 days.

Then we were anxiously waiting for DP plan sanction from Govt of Maharashtra, expecting our Lulla Nagar plot being released from Hill Top reservation. However, Hill top reservation continues and next upgrade will be after 10-12 years.

On family front, the Kids [C&R] exams are over and they have started saying, 'Chachu, how boring!!!' Dhwani/Kash have gone to Mumbai. Birthday, engagement, client meeting being the reasons. They will return on Sunday. Today, C&R will come and stay at B7, so I expect to spend some time with them and enjoy Akshay-Chinky fight over remote control of TV.

Muskan is in her routine Avtar. However, due to LBT strike, groceries shops are closed, she is enjoying the hunting spree for 'Atta', Veges, Milk etc. roaming around, searching for half open shops.

Yesterday, she had 'Jhadap' with society security. Mango tree in society garden is full with 'Cairry', so Muskan plucked some so that she can ask Mummy to make 'Chunda'. Security raised objection for her behavior.

Ankit, whom Akshay has adopted as his fast friend and for Muskan he is Punjabi family friend. He had married recently, and his new wife [Palavi] suddenly got operated urgently for 'Sis!' in her stomach. As the hospital is near our home, [Next to Mandir] Muskan- Dhwani have taken responsibility of cooking night food for Ankit and family and taking it to hospital around 9 o'clock.  I like this sheva bhav in children. Life continues...

Words Women Use

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means one-half hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes.. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in, fine.

(4)
Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint.. Just say you're welcome. (This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' -- that will bring on a 'whatever '.)

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying F-- YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I've got it: Another dangerous statement , meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking, 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response, refer to # 3.

The Week that was [ 5 - 12th Dec 09]

The Week Stared on Sunday by Krshna Kunj Kids Entertainment Program. It was pleasure to see Chinky & Rinky participating in small acts, singing and dancing. The sutradhar was ever smiling Sharat Dodeja. And yes, Manju had a small roll of customer buying milk! KK society has 18 girls and 3 boys, all born during last12 years, who acted under the guidance of one Mrs Lobo.
Muskan joined the call center for Orchid Hotel and spent her 1st week doing her job, making calls, leads provided by myself, Akshay, and Lali. She expected at least one positive result, but was disappointed. And this was an offer week for her. Got offer from harshal of Aviva. Then Payal Chandan send her team for Game show, 'Ghar Ghar ki Baat'. Initially Muskan and Pinky were both excited and willing to participate, but last night for some unknown reason dropped the idea.
The Kashyap was off to sudden project offer of Prety. Delhi, Agra and back to Mumbai, editing and finishing the presentation. Will be there working and staying with Gulu.
Bindiya for a change challenged Mona and myself. She wanted to visit Mumbai and be with Mona on her birthday on 11th December. I was against her trip, so was Mona, due to her delicate health. But we have to give in. I took her to Mumbai by cab on Tuesday. She is enjoying her stay with Mona and sisters very much. Will return tomorrow with Akshay & Muskan.
After lot of debate and discussions Akshay and Lali went to Vishal Mega Mart and started the counter over there for AT product range. A new beginning.
On family front, received call from Bal that her son, Manish's wedding dates are fixed 1-2-3rd Feb 2010.

Samay Badshah

" WAQT NAHI "

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein,
Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi...
Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein,
Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi..

Maa Ki Loree Ka Ehsaas To Hai,
Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.
Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke,
Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain,
Par Dosti Ke Lye Waqt Nahi..
Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen,
Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee,
Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.
Dil Hai Ghamon Se Bhara Hua,
Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi . ( 100% fact)

Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude,
Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein,
Jab Apane Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi...

Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi,
Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga,
Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko,
Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.........

A gem collected from the net. Unfortunatly the writer name is not available.
