16th Feb - 23rd Feb [mmmmoment]

Two wedding dates were announced this week.

Sapna Bajaj - Naresh Lulla  son, Kush is getting married on 2^nd May in Hyderabad. I just pulled out this old photograph of this family taken during Ajay Bajaj wedding in Hyderabad. How time flies. I still remember Sapna’s wedding in Hyderabad as if it is a recent occurrence. We had gone to Hyderabad in maruti van, all the way from Mumbai to Hyderabad. It was brand new high roof brown color maruti van. This brand was the first entrant in car revolution, which has just started in India. This trip was a risk, because at that time there were no mechanics for maruti, even in Mumbai! Thankfully, there arose no need of any mechanic and we had enjoyed wedding as well as that trip very much.

During her reception, which was held in open ground, unseasonal rain played spoil  spot. We all cousins used big plastic as umbrella and took the couple to closed enclosure.  During wedding, I for the first time realized after watching Chuni uncle, how big is the tension of getting a daughter married. No words can release tension. You just have to ride it. It was the time when all mama’s have financially separated and uncle was facing insecure future. But still he managed to get excellent home for both of his daughters!

Nandani Nanda's dated was fixed finally, after lot of dilly dallying. i.e. 11^th May. So we will have neck to neck, two wedding to attend. And before this week ended, Kunal Narang, Amar Narang's nephew also said yes to a girl he met via some matrimonial arrangements. However, the wedding will be held in year end. So the this year’s main theme, ‘Wedding’  keeps growing.

Recently the days are flying by in a blur. So much so that I have to think hard to recollect, when this happened or that happened! So much so that I have started visiting my previous blog pages to keep myself up to date!

Once again Kashyap-Dhwani team has gone to Mumbai. They must win the frequent visitor tag for Mumbai from our family, very easily, hands down with no competition.

10 th Feb 2014 – 16th Feb 2014 - Wedding Seasons

 

Muskan has gone to Delhi & Chandigadh for attending her cousin’s wedding. Akshay joined her on Saturday. It is very cold and raining in north. It even snowed in Amritsar, which is very rare.

I have a feeling that this year is going to be a year of weddings. Lot of weddings in which we have to participate are already lined up. Nandani Nanda, Meeth Shah, Kush Lulla have already booked the dates in various months of 2014, i.e April-May-June. Dhwani’s long list of friends getting married is not over, and I am sure like last year she will suddenly go on intense course of attending wedding and function, covering 5-10 events in months time!

Then few boys/girls are waiting in wings, just rearing to announce dates. And few are starting the process earnestly, and those are who have avoided getting married for long time. If those also get converted into done deals, then we can confidently say that stars do have good play in these matters.

This week will go into Noble Groups history as a week when we hit 1^st sixer in Xrbia. It was not expected, but lineup was there. However, things moved smoothly, suddenly and we touched 6 runs in a day! Now only thing is we to do is reap the benefit.

Life is taking the shape of continuous paper running through printers. It is going on at maximum speed, printing our life story, nonstop, without any pause. And this is happening with all of us. Be it Sharat, Muskan, Dhwani or all of noble group. It has being long time when we have marked Sunday or for that matter, any other day as holiday!

Chinky has successfully cleared prelims and waiting for 3^rd March to clear her HSC!

3 rd Feb 2014 – 9th Feb 2014 [SSC - Weddings]

 

Mon: 3^rd. Rinky celebrates her birthday and Chinky enjoys the most! She was all over the place, showing off Rinky’s Birthday Cake baked by her. She tried a very unique combination of Pudding Cake + Strawbery Cake + Fresh Strawberry +  Custard as Topping.

More happy he/she is, more Dodeja will be that person. For example, see the happiness on these seven people.

Chicky is at her life’s very special stage. Some find it enthralling stage of life, and for some it is most tension filled, uncertain and nervous period of life. Yes, Chinky is in 10^th Standard, this is her last month of the school life. 

This should go on the record as the first day in life of Chinky when she wore a Saree and attended her school. She was feeling so shy that no one other then most necessary family member was allowed to meet her or even talk about it!
 

Kash – Dhwani were off to Mumbai, once again. Attending wedding and arranging meeting. Dhwani’s brother, Meet is getting married in month of July at Silvasa, so this can turn out a location event with 2 nights and 3 days fun.

Nandani’s proposal has being accepted and soon she will join the married brigade. Maybe the marriage will be held in May. Soon this news will be flashed after confirmation. The boy's name is Aditya Sharma and looks and feels like 'shudh' Punjabi Munda. 

It looks my both ‘bahus’ will be busy in April-May, doing shopping, attending functions. And if Sharat surprises us then this year will be marked as the year of marriages!

27th Jan 2014 – 2nd Feb 2014 [Feeling Hungry]

 

Fri 31^st - Lali – Manju – Mummy made a flying visit to Mumbai. Lali – Manju have to make a condolence visit with Valechas. Mummy went to see Savitri Aunty, who is bed ridden due to injury sustained in Bathroom fall. It is usual happening with old and weak people.

It is time for Birthday celebration. Ritu celebrates her birthday in Paris! She has gone to Ireland for some educational course and from there she along with few student friends went for weekend tour of Paris. Wow.

Rinky will be 14 years old, her birth date is 321. i.e. Born on 3^rd Feb 2001. She has made a unique demand on her birthday. A pizza party at Mapro Gardens, Mahableshwar. She loves Pizza so much that we conduct Pizza Party at least once in three months at home. She wants to work as hair dresser, so young and already decided future career. We did not know what it means to have career at that age. The present generation is fast, what will be future generation?

One thing about Rinky is beyond my understanding. She in the only Girl I know of, who does not like to be photographed! Why? This is a great subject for Dhwani to investigate and analysis. I am thinking of giving her this project, but I am afraid she will fail in it. Meanwhile I invite all my readers to sent me what they think is the reason. I know, Rinky will get angry but I like her more when she gets angry.

Why I am feeling hungry. Just because, Avi & Fly with Mummy and Dhwani are off to Mahableshwar, just to enjoy Sandwich, Pizzas, Strawberry Cream Icecream, fresh straberry and much more!
