A simple statement makes lot of difference, if you are able
to stick to it.
“Instead of counting number of People who did not help you,
count number of people who came out and helped you in your time of need. This
simple act is way of saying thank you and respecting them and keeping peace.”
How true. After some time, I may forget the specific help or
nature of help received, but this feeling that so and so has helped me will
remain engraved, instead of negative thoughts that so and so did not help and I
should get even with that person. B+
Countdown has begun. Why do I feel high tension of
anticipation in air, along with hidden excitement, feeling that major changes
are round the corner? I have not felt so cheerily, sunnily, pleasantly on edge.
It is weird feeling, extremely unique, kind of rare and precious.
Wed: This was flash back day in very odd way. First flash
back communication was from Arun Munyal’s with a call regarding Surendra Modi.
He called me for first time after our parting in 2011. I had asked him to get
some information of Surendra. Turns out, he has managed to sell his flat, so we
are presuming that he has got some funds.
Next was surprised visit by Kotyan. He was the person
responsible for success of NE-FD. He was Sales Officer with Godrej, then with
Pillisbery. We had launched ‘Chaki Fresh Atta’ successfully with his help.
During 5 years he procured Reynolds Pen, Godrej Sara Lee, Godrej Industries,
MTR all big brand distributions for us. He had come to Pune to offer use
distribution again. When I told him that
we have discontinued distribution, he was disappointed. We talked of old times
and said good bye.
Next to visit us from past was Seema Wadke. She was employed
by us in early 80’s and left job 3 years back.I had picked her up from typing
class. She learned everything on job. Be is corel draw or Script Master. In her
youth she was very aggressive and fiery, now time had made her demure,
specially after her daughters engagement was broken. How life brings in changes
in person. She was on social visit for first time in 3 years, maybe for reminisce,
as she has spent good and happy part of life in Noble Printers.
Fri: Climate was hot and sultry. Akshay will be back from
Pune, so in his welcome, Muskan invited Lali and Avi along family for Pasta
Dinner. ‘Indra’ Devta was preparing to shower us with his blessing, when power
went off just as we finished dinner. We shifted sofa to terrace and enjoyed
gentle breeze, when again we have to shift inside as rains arrived. Just one
simple shower changed the atmosphere, so much so, that except for Dhwani, no
one missed the power cut, which lasted till 4.30 am!
Sat: Bindiya is recovering gradually. Our main topic nowadays is only one, BOY - GIRL - BOY - GIRL.
